Fantastic Stay in Prime Location

central locationattentive servicesatisfying breakfast
The location is central. It is close to public transport (the Baixo and Chiado subway stop). The building once served as a palatial city residence. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with local tips. I found the breakfast very satisfying (I especially liked the fresh juice!). My room was spacious and quiet. It included all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The customer service was first class and very attentive to all my needs. I appreciated the quick responses and helpful attitude of the staff. I enjoyed a great breakfast each morning. The staff was super friendly. They offered helpful service. I highly recommend this location (I will definitely return on my next visit).

The hotel location is very good. I had easy access to many places. There are many restaurants close to the hotel. The breakfast had a great variety and the food was fresh. The hotel even provided umbrellas that I used during the rain.
The building is old. I could hear the water pipes. The doors are not sturdy. I could hear conversations in the hallway.

Mixed Experience with Several Issues

polite stafflarge cockroachmalfunctioning air conditioning
The staff was courteous.
I encountered a major issue, a cockroach inside the room was unusually large. The air conditioning was set only for heating. The room felt stuffy. A bad smell from downstairs also stopped me from opening the window.
